Despite this setback, Asante Kotoko still holds onto the fourth position in the league standings with 32 points, trailing leaders Samartex by three points.
In contrast, Accra Lions’ triumph has propelled them from 14th to 10th place on the table, accumulating 27 points from 20 matches.
