Ream Tamale United captain David Abagna has revealed the great excitement he received about his maiden call-up to the Ghana squad for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations.
The RTU star who has been in top form since the start of the 2021/2022 GPL season did enough to work his way into Milovan Rajevac’s plans for the tournament in Cameroon.
Abagna alongside Philemon Baffour, Maxwell Abbey Ashie Quaye, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku and Richard Attah are the home-based players to have been named in the Black Stars 30-provitional man-squad for the tourney.
Speaking to Ghanafa.org in an interview, Abagna disclosed his utmost joy when he discovered that he has finally been invited to the Black Stars team.
