Ghanaian attacker, Emmanuel Boateng registered his name on the scoresheet on Saturday night to help his side New England Revolution defeat Orlando City 3-1 in the US Major League Soccer.
Boateng started for his team on the night in a Week 18 encounter of the 2023 Major League Soccer season.
In a game where neither side could get on the scoresheet, Emmanuel Boateng opened the scoring for his team in the 51st minute.
That goal inspired New England Revolution to take advantage of the momentum to score two more.
In the 69th minute, a strike from Gustavo Bou doubled the lead for New England Revolution before Duncan McGuire equalised in the 80th minute to halve the deficit for Orlando City.
Unfortunately, for the visitors, that goal only served as a consolation. A third goal from Carles Gil sealed a 3-1 win for Emmanuel Boateng and his Duncan McGuire teammates.

The Ghanaian striker has now made 16 appearances for his team in the MLS this season and has two goals and three assists to his name.
