Ghanaian international, Naeem Mohammed, showcased his skills on Thursday night, guiding Halmstad BK to a 2-1 victory over Hammarby in the Swedish Allsvenskan.
Taking to the field alongside his compatriot Phil Ofosu-Ayeh, Mohammed proved instrumental in his team’s success, contributing significantly to their win on home turf.
The striker, Mohammed Naeem, found the back of the net in the 45th minute, courtesy of an assist from Jonathan Svedberg. His goal gave Halmstad BK the lead going into halftime.
In the second half, Mohammed Naeem turned provider, setting up Jonathan Svedberg to extend Halmstad BK’s advantage to 2-0 against Hammarby.
Despite Hammarby’s efforts to stage a comeback, with Tesfaldet Tekie scoring in injury time, it wasn’t enough to salvage a result for the visiting side.
Meanwhile, defender Phil Ofosu-Ayeh and Joseph Baffoe were also in action for Halmstads BK as they claimed all three important points in the game.
