Ghanaian forward Ibrahim Osman registered his first goal for Birmingham City in his third appearance for the club on Saturday afternoon against Leicester City.
The promising Ghanaian attacker scored with just three minutes into the game to put his side ahead but his country man Abdul Fatawu Issahaku levelled things up for Leicester City with a 21st minute goal.
With the game ending one apiece after recess, Birmingham City approached the second half very purposeful upfront in search for a second lead. Their incessant pressure on Leicester finally paid off with Jay Stansfield scoring in the 67th minute to extend their lead to 2-1.
Leicester City pushed for the leveller to get them at least a point in the game but the hosts proved determined to win the game as they gallantly defended their lead to end the match with all three points at the St. Andrew’s Stadium in Birmingham.
Meanwhile, Ghana captain Jordan Ayew was brought on in the 77th minute for Leicester City and registered five touches against Birmingham.

Ibrahim, recently completed a loan move to the Championship side from Brighton in the January transfer window.
