Ghanaian young teen sensation Jayden Addai, scored a hat-trick as Jong AZ recorded its second home win of the season on Monday.
Coach Jan Sierksma’s team was 3-1 too strong for SC Telstar thanks to a hat-trick from Jayden Addai. Seventeen-year-old Van den Ban made his professional debut.
The Alkmaar side dictated the game in the second half and produced a well-deserved second goal in the 81st minute. Addai got past two defenders on the right flank and shot into the goal through Koeman’s fists:
Jong AZ retained control in the remaining minutes and brought another debutant into the field with Van den Ban. In extra time, Telstar suddenly came up with the connecting goal, but Jong AZ would score a third goal. After a foul, the home team received a penalty kick and it was taken advantage of by Addai: 3-1.
