In a pre-season friendly, Prince Adu-Addae Junior Aning, a left-back of Ghanaian descent born in the Netherlands, found the back of the net for German Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday.
Aning featured for 45 minutes in the match as the Black and Yellow team dominated their opponents.
In the 87th minute, Aning scored the final goal of the game, helping Borussia Dortmund secure a 7-0 victory against Westfalia Rhynern in their first pre-season friendly in Germany.
Having been signed by the German powerhouse last summer, Aning has already displayed his immense talent in matches for the Signal Iduna faithfuls.
At just 19 years old, the versatile player is on track to compete for a place in Borussia Dortmund’s first team after an impressive season with the BVB U23 side.
Given his Ghanaian heritage, Aning is eligible to represent Ghana at the senior international level.
Meanwhile, Christian Antwi-Agyei was also in action for Westfalia Rhynern.
