Ghanaian youngster Mawuli Mensah was on target in his first game for the Real Betis youth team in their 2-2 draw on Wednesday night.
The midfielder scored from outside the box in Betis Deportivo’s 2-2 draw against UD Ameria.
The 19-year-old midfielder sealed a promising three-year contract with the La Liga side, making the move from Antequera CF during the summer transfer window.
Mensah’s versatility and remarkable performance in Antequera CF’s promotion to the First RFEF league caught the attention of Manuel Pelligrini’s team.
Real Betis Balompié officially announced the successful agreement between them and Antequera CF for the transfer of Mawuli Mensah to the first Verdiblanco subsidiary. The young Ghanaian footballer, born on November 15, 2003, in Acra, is now associated with the Club de las Trece Barras until 2026.
