Ghanaian prodigy, Patrick Agyemang climbed off the bench to power Charlotte FC to a comeback victory against Houston Dynamo and progress on the MLS Leagues Cup.
The Ghanaian youngster replaced Ashley Westwood in the 72nd minute and established himself in the game quickly as he scored the equalizer for Charlotte in the 80th minute mark of the clash.
Four minutes after Agyemang’s strike, Houston conceded again, this time through an own goal from Micael.
Charlotte FC will next travel to Miami to face Lionel Messi and his Inter Miami side following their victory over Dallas FC.
Meanwhile, compatriot Harrison Afful, 37, was an unused substitute in the game for Charlotte FC.
