Ghanaian forward Daniel Agyei played a pivotal role in Leyton Orient’s commanding 4-1 win over Stockport County in their English League One clash on Saturday.
Agyei, who started and played for 84 minutes, delivered a standout performance at Edgeley Park, contributing a goal and an assist as Leyton Orient secured an emphatic victory.
The visitors took control early, with Ethan Galbraith opening the scoring in the 12th minute. Galbraith doubled the lead just five minutes later, giving Leyton Orient a 2-0 advantage going into halftime.
Stockport County responded in the second half, pulling one back through Jack Diamond in the 50th minute. However, Agyei quickly restored Leyton Orient’s two-goal cushion, scoring a crucial goal before setting up Sean Clare for the team’s fourth goal in the 81st minute, sealing the result.
This marks Agyei’s first goal and assist of the season, and he will look to build on this strong performance as the campaign progresses.
