Ghana Premier League champions, Medeama SC won their first CAF Champions League prelims against Remo Stars FC.
The Mauve and Yellow outfits had a lot of great chances to score more goals against the Nigeria team on Sunday afternoon.
On the 21st minute of the match, Jonathan Sowah found the back of the net with a long range strike to make it 1-0 to the Ghana Premier League winners.
Despite creating numerous chances in the game, Medeama failed to add to their tally as they won their first game in the champions league with a 1-0 victory.
Medeama will travel to Nigeria for the second leg at the Ikene Stadium a week later.
