Ghanaian defender Jerome Opoku scored his first goal of the season for his new club in the Turkish Super Lig on Sunday evening at home.
He scored the opening goal of the match to put Istanbul Basaksehir in the lead after just three minutes with a beautiful finish to score his maiden goal for the club.
Former Chelsea FC defender Papy Djilobodji scored scores an own goal inside the 36th minute mark of the encounter to make it 2-0 at half time.

The former Fulham FC defender who joined the club on loan from Liga Portugal side FC Arouca played full throttle for his team as they won at home.
