Ghana International Jerome Opoku was on target for Istanbul Basaksehir in the Turkish Super Lig on Tuesday evening at Kasimpasa in a thumping 3-0 win for the visitors.

The match, lasting a full 90 minutes, witnessed Opoku’s masterclass, including a crucial goal and a decisive assist, earning him the well-deserved title of Player of the Match with a stellar rating of 8.7.

Serdar Gurler broke the deadlock of the match to put the visitors 1-0 up after 24 minutes before Opoku set up Philippe Keny to score the second goal for the away team nine minutes into the second half of the match to put the visitors 2-0 up.

The Ghana International went ahead to add his name on the score sheet for the Istanbul Basaksehir with a super goal 21 minutes away from the full time whistle to make sure his team secured a comfortable win on the road.

Opoku’s contribution extended far beyond the scoreboard, with an astounding 78 touches reflecting his influence in controlling the game. His versatility and strategic play were evident throughout the match, as he seamlessly transitioned between defensive and offensive roles, leaving spectators in awe.
