The 24-year-old former Schalke 04 man scored the opening goal of the match to put the hosts 1-0 up under one minute in the match.
Thiago Rodríguez set up the Ghana International to score beautifully for the Green and Whites Eagles in their fourth game of the season.
Rick and Rodríguez scored a goal in the first half to make it 3-0 at the break before and added two goals in in the second half to make it an emphatic 5-0 win over Spartak Varna.
The Ghanaian forward has three goals in four matches this season in the Bulgarian First Professional League.
