Ghanaian forward Callum Hudson-Odoi was on target for Nottingham Forest FC at home to West Ham United FC in the English Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
At the start of the game, both teams had good chances to score as they tried to show who was better. West Ham was lucky not to fall behind early when Nuno Tavares ran fast down the left side and Anthony Elanga shot hard, but Alphonse Areola, West Ham’s goalie, saved the ball with his feet.
Just before halftime, Nottingham Forest scored the first goal of the match, thanks to Awoniyi who showed how good he is at scoring goals.
West Ham’s chances of coming back got smaller when Kalvin Phillips got a red card in the 70th minute for getting two yellow cards quickly.
As time was running out, Hudson-Odoi scored again to make sure Nottingham Forest would win. He was cool and calm when he got the ball in the box and scored the goal that sealed the victory for Nottingham Forest.
This season, Hudson-Odoi, who is 23 years old, has played in 16 games, scored four goals, and helped his teammates score once in the Premier League.
