Ghanaian forward Kwadwo Opoku Mahala scored his first goal for Montreal Impact FC in the Major League Soccer in America against Charlotte FC.
The young forward lasted a little over an hour on the field of play for the club as his side secured a 2-0 win at home.
He ffound the back of the net inside the first 45 minutes of the match with a close range finish on the 29th minute mark following a goal-mouth scramble.
Two minutes later, Nnamdi Chinonso Offor added to the home team’s advantage as he grabbed the second goal of the match to put the hosts 2-0 up before the break.
Both teams could not not find the back of the net in the second half of the match as it ended 2-0 to the home team.
