Ghana striker Kwesi Appiah was on target for Boreham Wood FC against Chelsea XI in a pre-season friendly on Tuesday evening.
The Crewe Alexandre FC player needed just two minutes to announce his presence in the game for his new team against the Blues.
He conneted beautifully to a cross from Marshy into Kwesi Appiah who volleyed the ball first time into the bottom corner just inside the area to make it 1-0.
Seven minutes later, Mo Sagaf’s finish went into the bottom corner from the edge of the goal area to extend the Black and Whites lead.
Chelsea nearly pulled one back when Hudson-Odoi brilliant shot from close range was equally matched by a from Ashmore.
The rebound fell into the path of Stutter but his effort was cleared off the line from Fyfield.
Marshy added the third goal but Odoi pulled one back before the break. Leo Castledine and Tyrique George scored for Chelsea as it ended 3-3.
