Ghanaian forward Malik Abubakari’s solitary strike took Finnish Veikkausliiga giant HJK Helsinki to the group stages of the 2022-23 UEFA Europa League.
The Ghanaian forward who’s on loan from Swedish powerhouse Malmö FF did the needful for the away team by scoring the only goal of the match to seal qualification.

His right-footed strike on the 41st minute from the center of the box found the high center of the post to make it 1-0 to the away team and 2-0 on aggregate.
Joel Felix scored the equalizer for the home team, Slikeborg IF inside 75 minutes to restore parity and make the score 1-1.
Nonetheless, HJK Helsinki qualified to the group stages of the 2022-23 UEFA Europa League following a 1-0 first leg victory.
