Ghanaian midfielder Bismarck Nana Adjei Boateng was on target for the first time in the Romanian Liga this season on Monday for AFC UTA Arad.
The midfielder grabbed the only goal for Cluj in their away game in the Romania Top-flight league.
He scored the goal inside the first half to give a deserved lead to the away team in their 1-1 stalemate at the end at the Francisc von Neuman Stadium in Arad.
He again came so close to getting the second when his effort from close range was saved by the framework few minutes to the break.
UTA Arad levelled matters in the early stages of the second half after Croatian defender Denis Kolinger put the ball into his own net.
The game ended 1-1.
