On Saturday morning, Hearts of Oak emerged victorious in a friendly match against lower-tier team Na God FC.
David Ocloo’s team dominated the match from the start and opened the scoring early on with a goal from Suraj Seidu in the first ten minutes. Despite having numerous opportunities, they failed to increase their lead and went into the break with a 1-0 lead.
In the second half, Hearts of Oak doubled their advantage thanks to a header from Linda Mtange, who received a cross from Amankwah Baafi. However, Na God FC quickly responded with two goals to level the score.
In the closing stages of the match, Linda Mtange completed his brace, securing a 3-2 win for Hearts of Oak. Although it was a low-key friendly, the victory is a good confidence boost for the team ahead of their upcoming matches.
