Ghana’s Black Stars left-back Baba Abdul Rahman shone bright for Greece Super League side PAOK Thessaloniki in the UEFA Conference League on Thursday night.
The Ghanaian international lasted the entire duration of the match and was a key factor in PAOK’s 2-1 home win against the Bundesliga team Eintracht Frankfurt.
The victory means PAOK’s flawless record in the Europa Conference League group stage continues after two games.
The Black and Whites Eagles took the lead in the 28th minute with a goal from Andrija Zivkovic and held onto their lead until halftime. However, Frankfurt equalised in the 68th minute through Omar Marmoush. PAOK managed to secure a late victory when Greek international Konstantinos Koulierakis netted the winning goal.
