Vincent Odotei Sowah, a board member of Hearts of Oak, is confident that the newly inaugurated secretariat will elevate the club’s status to a leading position in Africa. The handover ceremony for the cutting-edge building was held at its Adabraka location, where it was officially presented to the board chaired by Executive Chairman Togbe Afede.
The event was attended by Managing Director Vincent Sowah Odotei, other board members, and the media, who were given a tour of the new facility. In remarks made to reporters following the ceremony, Sowah Odotei emphasized the collaborative effort behind the project, stating, “Well, first of all, as the board chairman said, this has come to fruition because of the collaboration of all the stakeholders, the patrons, the board, and the supporters.”
He continued, “We are very happy and this is all part of the strategic steps we are taking to make Hearts of Oak a preeminent club, not just in Ghana but in Africa.”
The newly completed facility, known as Phobia House, is set to become the club’s central hub for business operations. This state-of-the-art building represents a pioneering development, being the first of its kind for any team in Ghana.
Following a challenging season last year, Hearts of Oak are hopeful that these infrastructure advancements will spur them toward success in the forthcoming season.
