Vodafone telecommunication Ghana is interested in taking up a role to  serve as Kotoko’s new headline sponsor thus initiated communication with the Kumasi based club, Sports world Ghana can report.

We understand, the giant tele communication company is prepared to offer the most decorated Ghanaian football club a stupendous amount of GHS 100,000 every month, a GHS40,000 increased figure per the current amount MTN pays Kotoko every month.

Kumasi Asante Kotoko in recent times have struggled with finances despite MTN dulling out GHS60, 000 every month. The contract between both  parties however expires in August 2016.

The Public relations Officer of the Club, Kwaku Ahenkorah speaking on Kumasi based Kessben FM on reaffirmed the development we gathered.

According to the PRO, the’ve been at least three proposals that have come from companies seeking the to be the headline sponsor of the Club.

Kotoko in past years have had professional relationship with tele communication companies through sponsorships. Such Company includes, Tigo Ghana and Onetouch which is now Vodafone.
