Greek club Volos FC have announced the acquisition of 24-year-old Dutch-born Ghanaian central defender Derek Emmanuel Adjei Agyakwa.
Agyakwa, after passing the necessary medical and ergometric tests, signed his new contract with Volos and was immediately integrated with the rest of the team.

Derek Agyakwa began his career in the Twente academy before moving to Watford in 2020. He then moved to Como and Port Vale, while the last two years he played in Georgia with Iberia 1999, with whom he won the league.
He also boasts of both UEFA Champions League and UEFA Conference League experience.
