Black Queens midfielder Chantelle Boye-Hlorkah says the team is fully motivated to secure victory against Egypt in their 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) qualifier in Suez.
The Nottingham Forest star, who helped Ghana win bronze at the 2024 WAFCON, expressed excitement after reuniting with her teammates for the first time since their impressive outing in Morocco.
Speaking after the team’s final training session in Ismailia, Boye-Hlorkah said the mood in camp was positive and the players were eager to build on their recent success.
She assured fans of a spirited performance, adding that the team’s togetherness and determination would be on full display.
The 30-year-old midfielder, who switched nationality to represent Ghana, has been in fine form at club level, scoring two goals for Nottingham Forest Women in the English Women’s Super League 2 this season.
The Black Queens are seeking to make another strong statement as they begin their journey toward qualifying for the 2026 WAFCON.
