Black Starlets winger Joseph Narbi emerged a standout performer, winning the MVP award as the U17 team secured an impressive 5-1 victory over Ivory Coast in the opening match of the WAFU Zone B U17 Championship.

The youngster found the back of the net twice for the Black Starlets as they registered the emphatic win over Ivory Coast on Wednesday at the University of Ghana Stadium.

Narbi did not only register a brace to his credit, he also set the tone for Ghana’s dominant performance over their Ivorian counterparts.

His first goal, a breath-taking volley, following a perfectly placed pass from teammate Mark Kagawa, was Ghana’s opener. But Narbi wasn’t finished yet.

As the game progressed, Narbi continued to dazzle spectators with his remarkable skill set.

His second goal, a clinical finish from a rebound, further solidified Ghana’s control over the match.

Throughout the game, Narbi’s speed, agility, and vision were on full display, leaving the Ivorian defenders in his wake and delighting fans with his mesmerizing footwork.

His two goals not only propelled Ghana to victory but also underscored his status as a rising star in the world of football.

With the emphatic win over Ivory Coast, the Black Starlets are not only a team to watch but all eyes will undoubtedly be on Joseph Narbi as he continues to showcase his talent and inspire his team to further success.
