Watford release Ghanaian defender Derek Agyakwa

Relegated English Premier League side Watford have parted ways with Ghanaian defender Derek Agyakwa after two years together.

Watford had an option to renew his deal by one more year but they did not exercise it and he now has to find new employers.

Agyakwa, 20, plays for the Watford Under 23 side in Premier League 2 and made no league appearance this ended season.

He previously featured for FC Twente in the Netherlands and also Italian third tier side Como on loan.
