King Faisal Football Club has expressed their readiness to represent Ghana in the 2022/23 CAF Confederation Cup if they win the MTN FA Cup this year.
The club recently won their quarter-final match against Aduana Stars with a 3-1 penalty shootout victory, following a 2-2 draw in 120 minutes at the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex in Abrankese.
Spokesperson Awal Mohammed has confirmed that the club is financially prepared to compete in the Confederation Cup if they win the FA Cup.
“We are ready to participate in Africa because we are financially sound to compete in the Confederation Cup if we win the FA Cup,” as reported by Kumasi FM on Tuesday.
The team will now face Nsoatreman FC in the semifinals of the 2022/23 FA Cup, while Dreams FC will play Division One side Skyy FC.
