Ghanaian forward Joseph Paintsil has expressed confidence in his new teammates at Los Angeles Galaxy FC, stating that their hunger for success could lead them to dominate many teams away if they maintain their current form.
Paintsil has featured in all three of LA Galaxy’s games in the 2024 Major League Soccer season, securing a victory against San Jose Earthquakes and drawing against Inter Miami and Nashville.
In these matches, the former Genk star has showcased his talent, scoring a goal and providing an assist, including a remarkable strike against San Jose Earthquakes. Additionally, on his debut against Inter Miami, Paintsil won a penalty, albeit Riqui Puig’s subsequent miss.
Following their win against San Jose, Paintsil emphasized the team’s hunger for success, believing that if they continue to perform at their current level, they will pose a significant threat to many clubs.
“The players are really hungry for success,” Paintsil stated in an interview with the LA Galaxy website. “We did everything together, and if we keep playing like this, we are really going to kill a lot of clubs, trust me.”
Paintsil remains a strong candidate for inclusion in the Ghana squad for the upcoming friendlies against Uganda and Nigeria in Morocco.
