Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC defender, Andrews Appau says the club is ready to play any team in the 2022-23 CAF Champions League competition.

The center-back said the Kotoko team is ready to take on teams like CAF Champions League winners, WAC of Morocco.

Kotoko won the 2021-22 Ghana Premier League title after drawing against Ashantigold SC at the Len Clay Stadium in Obuasi with three games left.

“We can face the likes of Wydad Athletic Club (WAC) in the Champions League”, Kotoko’s defender Andrews Appau on FOX FM.

He scored his first goal of the season for the Porcupine Warriors in their record breaking win over Medeama SC at the Akoon Park in Tarkwa.

Kotoko will represent Ghana at the 2022-23 CAF Champions League competition after winning the 2021-22 Ghana Premier League trophy.
