According to Asante Kotoko coach Prosper Narteh Ogum, he and his technical team have not fully tapped into the potential of the players at the club.
The Porcupines experienced a slow start to the season, failing to win any of their first three games. However, they have since found their rhythm, securing two wins and one draw in their last three matches. They currently sit in 7th place on the Ghana Premier League standings with 9 points.
Despite the team’s recent improved performance, Coach Ogum believes that they have not yet realized the full potential of their players. He is optimistic that unlocking this potential will lead to even better performances from the team.
“The team is becoming good. To me, as a coach, and my technical staff, we don’t see the team being good as of now. We think that, given the potential that these players possess, we are yet to unlock these potentials in these players. If we are able to do that, I think we will see a good, better, and the best Kotoko,” he stated.
Asante Kotoko is scheduled to host the Hunters in a matchday seven fixture of the domestic top-flight at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday.
