Black Stars striker Inaki Williams says Ghana will do great things at the 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament next month.
According to him, Ghana has what it takes to cause trouble at the upcoming tournament despite being in one of the most difficult groups.
“We have a very young team, with a lot of quality. Most of them play in Europe,” Williams told the Spanish newspaper Marca.
“We can do great things in the World Cup. It’s not an easy group, but there is a very powerful team.
“We can surprise anyone. We’re not going [to the tournament as] favorites and that’s good for us,” he added.
The Athletic Bilbao forward made his Ghana debut against Brazil in an international friendly game in France at the Stade Oceane in Le Havre.
He started his first game for the Black Stars team against minnows Nicaragua in Spain when Ghana won 1-0.
