Aduana Stars expresses disappointment as none of their players makes it to the Black Stars’ provisional squad, despite dominating the Ghanaian top-flight.
Chris Hughton’s 55-man roster includes 11 players from the local league, with Medeama contributing five, including Jonathan Sowah, Nurudeen Abdulai, and Abdul Fatawu Hamidu.
Notably absent are Aduana Stars’ players, prompting Evans Oppong, the club’s Communications Director, to seek an explanation from the technical team.
He emphasizes Aduana Stars’ impressive performance, leading the Ghana Premier League table with 27 points in 15 games. Isaac Mintah, their striker, is also the league’s top scorer with 9 goals.
Oppong demands clarification from Chris Hughton for the omission, citing Aduana’s exceptional record in Ghanaian football.
“We demand explanation from Chris Hughton for not naming any of our players in his provisional squad. We have won more matches than any club in Ghana. We have more goals than any club.” he added.
