Hearts of Oak head coach, Martin Koopman has said that his team got a well deserved victory over Nsoatreman FC.
The Phobians on Sunday, September 24, 2023, recorded their first victory in the Ghana Premier League after beating Nsoatreman 1-0 at the Accra Sports Stadium.
In a game that Hearts of Oak created a lot of chances, Ramos Kashala’s goal became the only difference as 10-man Nsoatreman couldn’t put a ball at the back of the net.
Reflecting on the victory, Martin Koopman said their hard work paid off.
He told StarTimes: “If you win, it’s also a good feeling always but I think we deserve it. The whole week we had a hard week because everybody was disappointed and of course, we work very hard and I think this young team deserves the first winning game.”
“…I think altogether, we deserve the three points. So, I’m very happy.”
