W. O. Tandoh, a member of the technical team of Ghana Premier League giant Accra Hearts of Oak SC has delve into the current brouhaha surrounding striker Kofi Kordzi.
According to him, the striker has been advised to abstain from certain things which are not being helpful to his career and affecting his current form.
“There is a change in the game. Sometimes, what you want in the player can change. As a human being, you should always remember your back. It won’t be the same as today so we have approached him to abstain from certain things which are not helping him and focus on what will help.”
“One is that the Hearts of Oak family does not talk much so you can’t talk when our leaders are talking. What we know is to work hard.” Tandoh told ghanasportspage.com.
“I am advising him and I believe he will improve soon. He is not drinking and I don’t believe in those things like adultery and alcohol.”
“The social vices are your personal life but the disadvantages on it can go against you the more you do it. I don’t believe in people saying those things, no. Maybe it might be a personal problem or psychological effect and other things.”
“Nobody knows and sometimes you get provoked at home whiles nobody has offended you. Life can suddenly change so let us believe in life. We don’t have control over our lives and anything that we do.”
“It has disadvantages whether good or bad in your actions (the way you talk, sleep, eat, walkings, in terms of how you worship, whatever you do) at a point it can affect you.” He concluded.
Kordzi has been out of the Hearts starting XI for a while now and was not among the team when they beat rivals Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday evening to lift the 2022 President’s Cup.
