The National Sports Authorities boss, Professor Twumasi claims Ghana has quality pitches compared to the United Kingdom.
According to him, Birmingham stadium was full of dust but people chastise the NSA for not watering the pitches in the country.
Despite CAF’s inspection team deeming Ghana’s stadiums not up to the standard, prof. Twumasi believes the countries stadiums managers are on the right track.
“When I went to UK, Birmingham stadium was full of dust but people say we don’t water our stadium.”
“Ghanaians should not panic, we are in charge and we have the men.” – He added.” – NSA Boss Prof. Twumasi told Angel FM.
Ghana struggled in the month of March for the approval of the Kumasi Baba Yara Sports Stadium to meet CAFs requirement for the game.
