Who can argue that the 2023 AFCON has not been a success? The 2023 AFCON was expected to be a success but not to this extent as it has stolen the attention of the world.
In a press conference chaired by the CAF president Patrice Motsepe, the South African super president revealed that close to 2 Billion people have watched the AFCON across the globe
“We have had close to 2 Billion people watching AFCON globally. We should be proud as Africans and the next one will be even better”, CAF President Dr Patrice Motsepe disclosed.
The CAF president assured the continent of another wonderful tournament in Morocco in the 2025 AFCON.
“We are all one people on the continent. Zero tolerance of racism in this AFCON,” said Dr Motsepe. There has not been a single issue of racism raised in this AFCON as people from all corners of the continent have united and ensured the success of the AFCON.
Dr Motsepe said he was in Paris yesterday for a conference and many of the people there spoke well about this AFCON. This shows how the world has monitored the 2023 AFCON.
