The Communications director of the Ghana Football Association, Henry Asante Twum has reacted to the call-up of injured players to the Black Stars for the upcoming AFCON tournament in Ivory Coast.
During an interview on Asempa sport show, the astute communicator said. “Our medical team is highly competent, one of the best I mean top notch Dr Pamboe, Dr Jonathon Quartey ..…and our relationships with the clubs is the best recently when we had a little issue with Kudus complaining of his back pain Dr Pamboe reached out to the West Ham medical team spoke to them and asked if there is any reoccurring history there with him once they spoke we were able to determine what was wrong with the player”
The coach of Brighton has also hit at the coach of the Blacks Stars for the invitation of the right back who is on the injury table. “Maybe the coach of Ghana doesn’t watch the Premier League because I don’t know how much time we are playing without Tariq Lamptey, “If he wants to play with Lamptey, I’m happy for Tariq, but he’s not available to play with Brighton so how can he play with Ghana at the AFCON?” Coach De Zerbi said.
Chris Hughton has come under intense pressure from the general public after inviting Tariq Lamptey of Brighton and Thomas Partey of Arsenal who are all injured and inactive for their club sides.
