The defeat came at a crucial time when Kotoko needed a victory to bounce back from their recent struggles in the top-flight, having only accumulated a single point in their last six matches.
Expressing his frustration, Ocloo highlighted the team’s loss of concentration, particularly in the latter stages of the match, following Nsoatreman’s late goal in added time.
“After they scored, we played very well, we equalized but during the dying embers (of the game), we lost concentration and in football, you lose concentration and your opponent will punish you; that’s exactly what happened,” Ocloo remarked during the post-game interview.
The assessment by Ocloo sheds light on the importance of maintaining focus throughout the entirety of a match, especially during critical moments, to avoid costly mistakes and potential setbacks.
