Aristică Cioabă has urged his Aduana FC players to maintain maximum concentration ahead of their Ghana Premier League showdown with Bechem United, cautioning that any drop in standards could prove costly.
The Ogya Boys travel to the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park on Sunday for their Matchday 26 fixture, buoyed by back-to-back victories and clean sheets that have lifted confidence within the squad.
However, Cioabă has made it clear that recent form alone will not guarantee success, especially against a Bechem side fighting to move away from the relegation zone.
“We’ve built good momentum with two wins and clean sheets, but that won’t matter if we lose focus now. Bechem may be struggling, but that makes them even more dangerous,” he warned.
He further emphasized the need for discipline and efficiency in front of goal.
“We must stay concentrated throughout the game and be clinical when our chances come,” Cioabă added.
The Romanian tactician is wary of the challenge posed by teams battling for survival, noting that such sides often raise their intensity, particularly in home fixtures.
Aduana FC currently sit fourth on the table with 41 points, and a victory would strengthen their push in the title race, keeping them within close range of leaders Medeama SC with nine matches remaining.
