Former Accra Hearts of Oak SC star, Charles Taylor believes Ghana legend Sulley Ali Muntari is not a Black Stars material to be considered for a call-up for crucial World Cup Qualifiers.
According to the former Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC starman, the Black Stars needs serious players for the Nigeria Clash later this month.
Taylor believes the former Inter and AC Milan man is not needed for the upcoming game against rivals Nigeria for a place in the next FIFA World Cup Mundial in Qatar later this year.
He further stated that the 37-year-old should focus on playing for Accra Hearts of Oak SC to gain his fitness first.
However he also believes that the player could be invited in the future when Ghana makes it to the World Cup and he’s fit to play.
“Sulley Muntari is Not a Black Stars material for the Nigeria Clash. We need serious players”, Former Hearts and Kotoko star Charles Taylor said on Angel TV.
“He should focus on Hearts of Oak so he gains fitness, he can be called when Ghana qualifies for the World Cup”, He added.
Ghana will play Nigeria in their crucial Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup playoffs on 25th March in Cape Coast before the return leg in Abuja four days later.
