Hearts of Oak trainer, Slavko Matic has expressed his disappointment in the behaviour of the club’s supporters towards the team.
The comments of the Serbian tactician follows what he describes as “negative reaction” from the club’s teaming supporters as a result of a recent slump in form.
The Phobians, on Saturday February 11, 2023 defied their recent run of poor form at the Accra Sports Stadium, as they thumped Berekum Chelsea 3-1 to arrest a run of three home games without a win.

And speaking in his post game interview, Matic minced no words in expressing his displeasure about the way the club’s fans conduct themselves lately.
“I’m very disappointed in the supporters,” the coach said.
“When the team losses then you will hear all kinds of negative reactions from the supporters.
“We need supporters not fans. When the team losses, the supporters still have to support the boys.” Slavko Matic concluded.
Following the win over Berekum Chelsea, Hearts of Oak moved to the second position on the league log behind leaders Aduana Stars- a team they face next in the Ghana Premier League.
