Gor Mahia head coach Charles Kwabla (CK) Akonnor says his team has what it takes to win the Kenyan Premier League, but warns his players against becoming complacent.
“We need to stay focused in every game we play. It is not going to be easy, but the team that has the nerves to keep going is the team that will win. We have the nerves,” Akonnor said.
The K’Ogalo’s, which means “descendant of Ogalo” have been in strong form since suffering back-to-back losses to APS Bomet and AFC Leopards, winning nine matches and drawing two.
Gor Mahia currently lead the table with 46 points from 21 games, six clear of AFC Leopards, who have a game in hand.
