Austrian Típico Bundesliga side LASK Linz Radovan Vujanovic has revealed why the club signed budding Ghanaian forward Ibrahim Mustapha from Red Star Belgrade.
According to him, the young attacker is a robust and fast pressing player which fit perfectly into their profile and preference of player.
“We wanted to broaden our offensive line, especially in the center forward position, so we brought in Ibrahim.”
“We’ve had him on our radar for a long time and watched him live during our training camp in Belek.”
“He is a robust and fast pressing player and, at 22, has a lot of potential,” explains LASK sports director Radovan Vujanovic about the background to the commitment.
The 22 year-old has signed a three-and-half year deal with Lask, a former club of another Ghanaian and WAFA graduate Samuel Tetteh from Serbia Super Liga giant Red Star Belgrade.
He was unveiled by the club on Tuesday evening by the club after passing his mandatory medical test on Tuesday ahead of his move to the club.
He played 14 matches in the 2022-23 Serbia Super Liga this season before his move from Serbia to continue his development in Austria top-flight league.
