Maxwell Konadu, the head coach of Nsoatreman FC, believes his team’s tactical prowess was the key to their victory over Asante Kotoko.
In a hard-fought matchday 8 encounter at the Nana Kronmansah Sports Complex, the Nsoatre-based side secured a narrow 1-0 win, with Stephen Diyuo scoring the only goal in the first half.
After the match, Konadu credited their victory to their tactical superiority. He said, “We were tactically superior to Asante Kotoko in the first half, but Asante Kotoko came into the game strongly, and we kept our composure. We played according to our game plan, and I am pleased with the results.”
Konadu also pointed out that their well-equipped training facility played a significant role in their strong performance. He mentioned, “We are performing well because we have a well-resourced training facility. So any training program we want to implement, we do it to the best of our ability, and that is yielding results for us.”
With this victory, Nsoatreman FC maintains its position at the top of the league table with 16 points. In the upcoming matchday 9 games, Maxwell Konadu and his team will be guests of Great Olympics at the Accra Sports Stadium, where they aim to continue their winning streak against the two-time Ghana Premier League champions.
