Head coach of King Faisal FC Nurudeen Amadu has a strong believe that his team will perform betetr in the second round of the Ghana Premier League after wrapping up the first phase of the season with a defeat at Leon Cities on Monday.
Jonah Attuquaye scored the only goal of the game in the second half as Cities took slim advantage at the El Wak stadium on Monday but Nurudeen Amadu who was still impressed by the performance of his players is beaming with confidence ahead of the second round.
“In the second round we will do even better than the first round. We have beefed up the team with some few additions and hopefully they are going to help us win more games in the second round” Nuru Amadu said after the defeat to Legon Cities.
The club of Alhaji Grusah – now Black Stars management committee member – had a great start to the league winning six matches in their opening nine games but they now lost six games in their last nine and Amadu knows they must improve when the second round begins next week.
