Asante Kotoko Chief Executive Officer Nana Yaw Amponsah says the club will continue to fight until the end of the 2022/23 betPawa Ghana Premier League season despite their shaky form.
The Porcupine Warriors look certain to miss out on the league title this season after winning it in the previous campaign. They currently occupy the 6th position on the league log and have struggled to pick up decent points since the sacking of Seydou Zerbo.
Despite their struggles, Nana Yaw believes the team will continue to put in the fight till the campaign comes to an end.
“We will continue to fight until the end. The bottom line is that we cannot win every year,” he said to Joy Sports.
“Hearts won the league two years ago, last season they were sixth. We won last year [but] this season we are struggling. That is the nature of sports. So for us, we will continue to fight till the end.”
Kotoko will be hosted by Kotoku Royals in the matchday 31 games at the Theatre of Dreams at Dawu.
