The Bayern Munich Legend believes lack of planning by the national team is going to be a factor in our fortunes at the tournament.
“Ghana will be under pressure and is all about planning sometimes we forget to plan but we prepare and there is a difference between planning and preparation” Sammy Kuffour said on Kessben Sports.
Samuel Osei Kuffour is of the view a quarter final or semi spot would be a fantastic achievement for the Black Stars however, he believes we should plan very well and aim at the next AFCON. The former Ajax player is of the view we should take a long-term approach like Senegal if we want to achieve success.
“If we qualify from our group stage and we reach quarter finals or semifinals Halleluiah but out aim should be the next one …. now if you ask they will say we have Kudus, we have Partey we have Amartey we have Dede Ayew we have Jordan so we have to go and take the cup. No it does not work like that, it took Senegal how many years before winning the cup”
