Camara Sekouba, Guinea’s head coach, maintains his squad will try to avoid humiliation when they face Ghana in the second leg of their 2024 Olympic Games qualifier.
Guinea lost 0-3 in the opening match last week in Conakry and are on the verge of being eliminated from the race for a place in Paris.
On Monday afternoon, the team held their final practice session before the game at the Accra Sports Stadium.
“Let’s not forget that we are not here to take in the sights,” he told the media.
“There is pride and honour on the line. Tomorrow, the players will do their best and make sure they will leave the pitch with their heads held high.”
The coach confirmed to the media that the second badge of his team arrived on Monday morning and will be looking to make an impression.
