Black Meteors coach Ibrahim Tanko has revealed that the technical team are relying on the local players to battle Mozambique in the U-23 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
The team have stepped up preparations and are expected to travel on Friday for the game.
“We are here with only the local players. I think we have belief in them because we have been here for six weeks with them,” he said.
We saw the strength and the weakness so definitely we are going to have a very good team to start on Sunday,” he added.
Ghana finished fourth in the previous U-23 AFCON where Tanko was the head coach. The game against Mozambique will take place on Sunday.
